May 7... another birthday too soon. It all started at about 23:00hrs on the 6th of May, 2011 when i was feeling really sleepy and my friend just kept on keeping me awake with stories, and making sure that i was not sleeping...
@ 00:00hrs of 7th May, 2011, my friend surprised my with packages of blissful wishes and ushered me into my 23rd birthday... i will never forget this. That spirit continued through the day, my friends offline and online including TIG wished me well in my birthday and at 16:30hrs something great still happened.
Ms Sabriye Tenberken co-director of Braille Without Borders - International Institute for Social Entrepreneurs (IISE) Kerala India, came into the Auditorium @ the IISE where i and my friend was sitting and taking coffee with her System loaded with good great musics which she played for me and wished me special birthday... in attendance was my friend from Palestine, Sabriye herself from Germany, Marguerite from the USA, Drolma from Tibet and Vygas from Luthurania. It was simply amazing.
After that piece, my friend ask me out, that was the first birthday outing offered by a lady to me in my life! We went out and had a nice time @ a very cool spot called Merry Brown where i filled myself up with my favourites... oh my friend...what a friend.
In a nut shell, my birthday was an intercontinental birthday and one of the best so far in my life and my special thanks go to my friend; at this point it is worthy of note to mention my friends name, She is Tahreer from Palestine: a true friend, Sabriye, and Vygas for their wonderful surprises. I will never forget this day, lest i forget special thanks to TIG team for sharing my happiness and sending me a gift for my birthday. even though am a passive subscriber... i pledge by this show of solidarity, i'll become active with the group from now onwards.
